Christie Kennedy Augustine, MPT is the clinic director at Pivot’s Jacksonville, NC clinic. Her personal clinical interests include vestibular and concussion rehabilitation, infant torticollis and specialized manual therapy techniques including the use of IASTYM, orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine. She is passionate about helping people of all ages return to their hobbies, sports and activities of choice. As a manager, she enjoys collaborating with her co-workers on a daily basis to maximize the patient experience and develop a sense of “family” in the clinic.

She attended Fordham University on a full basketball scholarship from 1988-1992. Christie then attended Northwestern University in Chicago and received a Master in Physical Therapy Degree in 1994.

Christie is an avid runner and has completed 11 marathons. She remains passionate about the sport of basketball and has coached girls basketball from the youth to college level for 25 years. She and her husband, Michael have a daughter, Morgan, who is the light of their lives. Christie resides with her family in Hampstead, NC. She is excited to explore and enjoy the coastal NC region with her family and their black lab, Ollie.
