Brittany Johnson, PT, DPT joined Pivot Physical Therapy as a staff therapist in September 2020. She has a background in orthopedics with a strong interest in ACL rehabilitation, runners and throwing athletes especially helping with return to sport. During her career, Brittany has obtained certifications in level 1 Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and YBT.
Brittany graduated from Utica College in 2008 with a BS in Health Studies and 2010 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. After graduation, she has worked in various outpatient orthopedic settings from a small private practice to large hospital based practices. She spent some time as a traveling PT as well.
A native of Endicott, NY, Brittany is a member of ESR Distance, a local running team and plays in many competitive and recreational softball leagues. In her down time she enjoys sailing in the Finger Lakes, chasing hot air balloons, playing in a community handbell choir and spending time with her friends and family. She lives with her boyfriend and their 2 dogs, Layla and Olive.
