Brandon has been a physical therapist for over 10 years, graduating with his doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY in 2013. He has spent most of his career as a traveling PT, learning as much as possible in different settings, including outpatient orthopedics, homecare, acute care in a hospital setting, and a variety of subacute experiences. Brandon has a strong passion for helping people return to their active lifestyles.
Continuing education for Brandon over the years has included Kinesiotape training, ACL injury risk reduction, assessing and treating spinal conditions, application of dry needling techniques, and most recently a course specific to maximizing performance in the functional athlete (think Crossfit, weight-lifting, running, and gymnastics). Making a connection with patients is an important component to facilitate healing, and Brandon loves talking sports, food recommendations, live music, and travel-related experiences.
After many years of traveling, Brandon is happy to be settled into this area and excited to join the Pivot Physical Therapy team. When he’s not working, Brandon loves spending time with his husband, Corey, and their 2 beagles, Daisy and Loki, hiking Northern VA and exploring the fun, exciting, and unique things the DC area has to offer.
