Binh Nguyen joined Pivot Physical Therapy at the Laurel location in January 2018. He works as a physical therapist who strives to provide optimal patient care using evidence-based treatment. Prior to joining Pivot, Binh had experience providing therapy services at multiple locations in Maryland. His main interests are orthopedics and manual therapy.
Binh graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park; and he subsequently earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore. During his time in school, Binh worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant to help facilitate learning for first-year physical therapy students, and was actively involved with the American Physical Therapy Association as a Student Core Ambassador and Student Delegate for Maryland. After his graduation, Binh received further training to earn his Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) from Nxt Gen Institute of Physical Therapy, and his Selective Functional Movement Assessment Certification (SFMA) from the Functional Movement Systems.
Outside of work, Binh enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, playing sports, and learning.
