Ashley Johnson joined Pivot Physical Therapy in 2010. She serves as the Clinical Education Coordinator for Pivot PT where her responsibilities range from setting up contracts with Universities to arranging clinical affiliations for student physical therapists.

Ashley treats a variety of diagnoses ranging from post-operative cases to balance and vestibular issues. She obtained the distinction of Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) in 2015. She also obtained her certification as a dry needling specialist (CMTPT) in 2015. Most recently, she obtained her manual therapy certification from NxtGen Institute in 2020 and holds the distinction as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT). She is also certified to perform balance and vestibular evaluation, Functional Movement Screens (FMS) and geriatric functional screens in the clinic.

Ashley completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at Slippery Rock University in 2007 and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Slippery Rock University in 2009.

Ashley currently resides in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania with her husband Austin and their two children, Lily and Avery. In her free time, Ashley enjoys running and working out, traveling, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
