Occupational Therapist

Anna Slomowitz, OTR/L joined the Pivot Physical Therapy team in March 2020, currently working at both the Millsboro & Lewes clinics. Anna is a board certified and licensed occupational therapist with a focus on hand & upper extremity therapy. During a previous upper extremity affiliation, Anna had the opportunity to implement a novel, specialized program (created by a surgeon and certified hand therapist) for young athletes with sports-related injuries. She aspires to become a certified hand therapist (CHT) and to someday contribute future knowledge, skill, and research to the hand therapy field.

She is a graduate of Jefferson University East Falls Campus (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) receiving both her Bachelor’s in Health Sciences (Pre-Occupational Therapy) and Master’s in Science (Occupational Therapy) through their BS-MS program (2013-2019). During her time at the university, she was an NCAA Division II collegiate tennis player, board member for SAAC (Student Athletic & Academic Counsel) and SOTA (Student Occupational Therapy Association), and board member and volunteer for the Widener University Pro Bono Clinic (CCPTC).

Aside from the clinic, Anna enjoys trying new exercise classes, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with friends and family!
