Andrew joined the Pivot team in November of 2015 and most recently served as the Clinic Director for the Greensboro (Triad), N.C. location until September of 2021 when he began a new endeavor as the Clinic Director for both the Asheville, N.C. and Canton, N.C. clinics. He has been treating throughout the Triangle & Triad of North Carolina in an outpatient setting since 2014 and has truly developed a love for outpatient orthopedics. Andrew is a hands-on therapist who utilizes his extensive background in Anatomy, Kinesiology and Biomechanics to form and complete an individualized plan of care for each of his patients. Andrew is an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certified through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and the American Physical Therapy Association. This certification represents Andrew’s advanced clinical knowledge, skill and experience in orthopedics. Andrew is also a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT) who has been practicing trigger point dry needling since 2015. Additionally, he holds the designation of Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association since 2014. This unique combination of experience and education gives Andrew a distinctive approach to how he helps his patients achieve their dynamic and functional goals.
In 2014, Andrew earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Washington University in St. Louis where he studied the Movement System Impairment (MSI) methodology for rehabilitation. In 2011, Andrew graduated magna cum laude from Elon University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science.
In his leisure time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, playing golf, hiking, riding mountain bikes and exploring North Carolina from the mountains to the coast.
