Amy Simmons-Hope works through the Pivot Physical Therapy clinic in Cambridge, MD and is the head athletic trainer at Colonel Richardson High School in Federalsburg, MD. Previously, Amy was the head athletic trainer at Cambridge-South Dorchester High School. Since working at Colonel Richardson High School, Amy helped them to become the first school on the Eastern Shore of Maryland to be awarded the Safe Sports School Award with a 1st Team designation by the NATA.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2009 from High Point University in High Point, NC, with graduate level work in sports medicine at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA. While at AASU, Amy was a graduate assistant athletic trainer for their baseball and women’s soccer teams, and was also a part of the athletic training staff that was awarded the 2009-2010 Peachbelt Conference Athletic Training Staff of the Year Award. Amy is a member of the National Athletic Trainer Association, Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainer Association and Maryland Athletic Trainer Association.
