Amy Gwynn joined Pivot Physical Therapy in November 2015. Amy is a Raleigh native and graduated with highest honors from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise and Sport Science in 2012 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015. Amy is currently participating in an orthopedic PT residency program to prepare her to become board-certified in orthopedics.
Amy has worked with patients from ages 14 days to 100 years old on clinical rotations throughout her education. She has a special interest in vestibular rehabilitation and connecting patients to community based exercise resources to ensure their long term pain-free living. Amy has had additional training in Pilates and yoga and loves practicing in her spare time as well as hiking, traveling, and cooking.
