Amanda moved from New Jersey to join Pivot in February of 2018. She has a special interest in pediatrics, orthopedics, aquatic therapy and sports injuries. Amanda intends to pursue certifications in dry-needling and concussion management within the first few years of her career.
Amanda attended Stockton University in Galloway, NJ for both her undergraduate degree (2014) and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2017). During her time as a student, she worked as a rehab aide for a long-term care pediatric facility which specializes in the treatment and care of medically fragile and technology-dependent children.
As a student PT, Amanda has experience treating orthopedic conditions in an outpatient facility. She has also gained experience with aquatic therapy, pediatrics in a public school setting, and treating patients following orthopedic surgery in an inpatient hospital setting.
Outside of physical therapy, Amanda participates in recreational sports such as soccer and kickball. She also enjoys running and is beginning to train for her first 1/2 marathon.
