Physical Therapist, Clinic Director

Alexander Hart joined Pivot in 2021 as the Clinic Director in Dunkirk, MD. He earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Findlay and has continued his pursuit of learning and knowledge by completing certifications and specializations in Applied Functional Science, Strength and Conditioning, Functional Soft Tissue Mobilization, and Active Aging. These specializations and certifications enhance his abilities to view and treat everybody as an athlete and allows the creativity to fully customize therapy plans and programs to each individual. He believes that each person is an athlete at heart, from the lower intensity geriatric athlete that prioritizes going for walks or the ability to fully participate with family activities, to the high intensity high school and collegiate athletes focusing on their sporting performance.

Alexander’s prior experience has taken him all around the country and he has worked in 10 different states and one territory.

He feels blessed and privileged to have the opportunity to grow, travel, and learn from many great physical therapy professionals and specialists. He looks forward to bringing my expertise and connecting to the Dunkirk community help keep people healthy and moving strong.

He is currently seeking specialization for treatment of the foot and ankle with a deeper focus in the biomechanical function of the foot/ankle complex. Future specialization interests include concussion rehab, myofascial cupping, and select functional movement assessment.

Alexander truly enjoys his work as a Physical Therapists and loves the opportunity to help patients in their journey returning to optimal function. Outside of work, he has the guilty pleasures of cruising on winding roads on his motorcycle and finding secluded areas to hike and run with his dog. He has a passion for playing basketball, ultimate Frisbee, hunting (birds are the most fun!), camping, kayaking, fishing, watching big screen movies, and finding that unique hole in the wall food stop to satisfy the taste buds any time of day. Alexander, his fiancé, Bridget, and their dog, Meeka are new to the area and looking to getting involved in the community.
