Addison (Addi) began working as a staff Physical Therapist at the Magruder clinic in Hampton, Virginia in July 2022. She started playing sports including volleyball, softball and dance at a young age and her passion for exercise grew from there. When her brother suffered from a traumatic brain injury while she was in high school, she watched him return to function with the help of therapy and that’s when she decided she wanted to pursue physical therapy as a career. She is especially passionate about treating adult patients with orthopedic and neurologic injuries.
New to Virginia in 2022, Addi grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She obtained her bachelors degree in Health Sciences at the University of Missouri, Columbia (Mizzou) in 2018. Loyal to her alma mater, she stayed at Mizzou to complete her Doctorate in Physical therapy, graduating in May 2022.
In her free time, Addi enjoys traveling, reading, playing board games, buying plants, watching funny dog videos, weight lifting and going for walks.
