Abby Weiskopf is a doctor of physical therapy who joined the Pivot team as a staff physical therapist at the Fayetteville, NC location in September 2019. She has an interest in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation therapy. She received her LSVT certification, to work with patients with Parkinson’s Disease, in 2019 as well.
Abby was a competitive athlete starting at a young age and continuing through college. She participated in gymnastics, dance, and cheerleading and was named captain of her club gymnastics team in her senior year of college. Her interest in sports/orthopedic rehabilitation began with her own time spent in physical therapy. She decided to pursue her interests during college where she majored in Athletic Training. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Vermont in May of 2016. She also became a certified and licensed athletic trainer in 2016 and still holds these credentials today. She continued her education by receiving her doctorate of physical therapy from Stony Brook University in June of 2019. Due to her academic success throughout PT school, she was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society upon graduation as well.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking her dog on walks, traveling, and watching movies.
