Pivot Physical Therapy

Kevin Dintino, PT, DPT

Regional President

Kevin Dintino serves as the Regional President for the Pivot Physical Therapy clinics in Southern Virginia. He was the previous CFO at Tidewater Physical Therapy, an independent physical therapy company that joined Pivot in 2017.

Dintino is a 1989 graduate of the University of Toledo in Ohio, where he received a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy. He has called the Richmond area home since the early 1990s.

After more than two decades working as a practicing physical therapist, Dintino decided to bring his education to “current standards.” To achieve that goal, he embarked on a doctoral program through the Evidence in Motion Institute for Health Professions, receiving his doctorate of physical therapy in 2014.

Driven by a desire to help people get back to living full and complete lives, Dintino takes a holistic approach to treating patients, blending manual techniques and functional therapeutic exercises. A former high school wrestler and football player, Dintino has a special interest in treating sports injuries. His goal is to assist people in returning to their activities and passions, while keeping them as active as possible during their recovery.

Since joining the Tidewater team, Dintino has led the way to developing the practice’s presence in the greater Richmond area. As the Regional Director for the Richmond area, he oversees 13 clinics, including a staff of more than 100 clinical directors, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, certified hand therapists, physical therapy technicians and office staff.

As Chief Clinical Operations Officer, Dintino works to blend smart business practices with clinical excellence. His mission is to help Tidewater grow in a way that continues to put patient care and access first.

Dintino is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. When he’s not in the clinic, he can be found spending time with his family, cycling and hiking.
