Jennifer Hamilton

Jennifer Hamilton, PT, DPT

Clinic Director, Physical Therapist

Jen brings over 10 years of experience to the Fayetteville, NC (Robeson) clinic. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation Science and again in 2007 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. After graduation, she began working at CCRC Physical Therapy in Hope Mills until it was acquired by Pivot Physical Therapy in 2014. She joined the Robeson team in 2015 and assumed the role of Clinic Director. She also serves as a member of the Clinical Excellence Team.

She enjoys working with all patients but has a special interest in neck and back pain. She has completed training in The McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT) and plans to take the certification exam in 2018. Jen enjoys using MDT because it enables patients to self-manage their condition through specific exercises and advice.

In addition to MDT, she has completed continuing education in manual therapy, functional strengthening, dynamic stretching and functional capacity evaluations (FCE) through WorkWell Systems. Jen is a Certified Clinical Instructor by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as well as a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. She has been a member of the APTA since 2004.

Jen lives in Hope Mills with her husband and 2 children. They enjoy going to the beach and watching sports, especially the black and gold-- Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins!
