Jacob Friedman

Jacob Friedman, DPT, ATC 

Physical Therapist

Jacob Friedman is a staff physical therapist in the Arlington location, and has previously worked at Pivot locations in Alexandria, VA and L'Enfant Plaza, Washington DC. Jake's experience working in sports medicine includes treating varsity athletes at the University of North Carolina, club sports athletes at the University of Connecticut, and completing internships with the New York Jets and the Connecticut Tigers (minor league affiliate of the Detroit Tigers). He is currently serving as physical therapist for the Washington Capitals. 

As physical therapist for the Washington Capitals, Jake has experienced a lot of great moments, and walking out to a full crowd at Nationals Park is a memory that will last a lifetime.

Jake acquired his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then attended the University of Connecticut to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. As part of the DPT Program at UConn, Jake published research methods on heat, cold and constrast treatment for knee osteoarthritis. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the National Athletic Trainers'Association, and is a certified athletic trainer and certified in dry needling.
