Pivot Physical Therapy


Liz Koehling, ATC 

Certified Athletic Trainer

Liz joined the Pivot Physical Therapy team in July of 2016 as the head athletic trainer at Century High School. She works at the Pivot Physical Therapy clinic in Eldersburg, MD, in addition to her duties at the high school.  

Liz is a 2015 graduate of Lynchburg College, in Lynchburg, VA, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training with Highest Honors. Most recently she earned her Masters of Science degree in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania. While working towards her degree, she served as a graduate assistant for the California University of Pennsylvania football team. At both institutions, Liz conducted research on head impact epidemiology in men’s lacrosse players and comfort levels in psychosocial competencies, respectively. In May 2015, Liz received her board certification and in May 2016, her National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Performance Enhancement Specialist Certification.

Liz enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her border collie. She also enjoys running, hiking, yoga, and traveling. When she has the time, she loves a good movie or book.
