Daquane Ellington

Daquane Ellington, MS, ATC, LAT 

Certified Athletic Trainer

Daquane Ellington joined Pivot Physical Therapy in 2016 as the athletic trainer for the Hawks of River Hill High School and works at the Clarksville physical therapy clinic. Before joining Pivot, Daquane worked as the head football athletic trainer at Morgan State University. While at Morgan State, he coordinated all medical care for the Bear’s football and bowling teams. He also assisted certified intern athletic trainers in providing medical care to the Bear’s track, men’s basketball, volleyball and softball programs.

Daquane received his graduate degree from the University of Idaho in 2014. While at Idaho, he worked as a graduate assistant with the football program and completed his two-year degree in only one year. His thesis researched the effects of burnout on graduate assistant athletic trainers in the collegiate setting. As a graduate assistant, Daquane gained valuable experience working directly with a National Athletic Training Association Hall of Fame athletic trainer to provide medical services to Idaho student-athletes.

Prior to Idaho, Daquane earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Athletic Training from North Carolina Central University. NCCU is the only Historically Black College in the country with an accredited athlettic training education program. A native of Cary, North Carolina Daquane attended Green Hope High School.
