Adam has lived in Canton, NC for 30 years and was the owner of Peak Physical Therapy before the company partnered with Pivot Physical Therapy in 2017. He is now the area manager and community & physician liaison for western North Carolina. The past three years he has worked at a local outpatient orthopedic clinic. He enjoys treating patients of all ages with functional impairments with symptoms related to spinal disorders, shoulder, hip, knee, elbow and balance limitations. Adam’s focus is to provide one-on-one individualized treatments to reduce pain and return to prior level of function.
His continuing education has focused on extensive training in orthopedic physical therapy specializing in Maitland Australian based manual therapy. His specialty includes normalizing joint mobility, restoring strength, and increasing flexibility to improve quality of life. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Private Practice Section of APTA.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Western Carolina University with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Distribution; playing collegiate football at Western for three years. Adam returned to Western Carolina University to receive his graduate degree earning a Master of Physical Therapy.
Adam is married to Paige Bridges; they have a son Carson and a dog Kenzie. He enjoys being outdoors hiking, water skiing, and mountain biking. He has been an active member of the Canton Lions Club for 11 years assisting residents of Canton and Haywood County.
