Harris Thompson, Chief Executive Officer, joined Pivot Physical Therapy in April 2015. Harris leads the company’s vision, strategy and growth. He is deeply committed to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and continuing education for Pivot’s clinicians.

Steve Berger is responsible for strategic and financial planning as well as the day-to-day realities of tax compliance, accounting, and information services. Director of Sales
Katie joined Pivot Physical Therapy in 2008 as Director of Marketing. By laying the groundwork for growth through her marketing and networking talents, she was instrumental in the expansion that more than doubled the number of active clinics. Now in her role as Director of Sales, Katie leads the sales and physician development division for Pivot Physical Therapy. She and her team serve as liaisons between the company’s clinics and referring physicians. Her relationships are essential to the continued growth of the company and its commitment to supporting community events.
Kevin Dintino serves as the Regional President for the Pivot Physical Therapy clinics in Southern Virginia. He was the previous CFO at Tidewater Physical Therapy, an independent physical therapy company that joined Pivot in 2017. Read More
Director Sports Medicine Outreach and Development
Scott Ellis focuses his attention on staff and program development: delivering exemplary services while building and sustaining relationships and partnerships in the sports medicine community. During his 25 years as an athletic trainer and administrator, Ellis has served in elected leadership roles at the community, state and district level including a Governor appointed position as Business Secretary of the NJ Council of Physical Fitness and Sports. In addition, he assisted in leading the Committee to "National Council of the Year Award" at the National Conference. Read More
As Regional President of Delaware and Eastern Maryland, Brad Hancock is responsible for managing patient care and outreach. He came to Pivot as founder of Activcare Physical Therapy, a company he successfully grew to be a leader in the North Carolina outpatient physical therapy market, encompassing 10 locations with services to include orthopedics, sports medicine, vestibular rehabilitation, oncology rehabilitation, geriatric care, and pain management.Read More

Matt Haney, President of WORKPRO Occupational Health (A Pivot Company), joined the Pivot Physical Therapy team in April 2015. Matt is responsible for growth opportunities in Northern Delaware and leading the WorkPRO team. Matt has extensive experience both as a practicing clinician and an entrepreneur.Read More
Todd serves as the Market Director and is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important contacts and referral bases as well as looking for strategic opportunities.
As Regional President of Western & Central Maryland, Washington D.C., West Virginia and Virginia, Christopher Horowicz is responsible for managing patient care and outreach. Chris is a Baltimore native. He graduated from Goucher College in 1995 with Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations. While at Goucher, Chris was on both the swim and lacrosse teams and served as a lacrosse team captain during his senior year. Read More

Brian Hoy is the Vice President of Clinical Services for Pivot Physical Therapy and oversees all aspects of the company’s clinical services programs. He serves as the director of the Clinical Excellence Team (CET) and is the Continuing Education board member for the CET. Brian also oversees all aspects of WebPT as director of the EMR team and is the MedBridge Education liaison for our company.Read More
Chief Development Officer, Founder
Gary Katz, founder and Chief Development Officer of Pivot Physical Therapy, strives to provide the highest quality, patient-centered care. Gary Katz opened his first physical therapy practice in Maryland over ten years ago and since then has created one of the largest physical therapist-owned and managed companies along the East Coast.
Stephen began as a staff physical therapist, moved into a clinic director role, then regional manager and now serves as the North Carolina Regional President. Stephen has strong clinical experience in the outpatient physical therapy setting in which he utilizes a variety of interventions including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise.Read More
SVP of Strategic Initiatives, Founder
Greg Smith is Founder and SVP of Strategic Initiatives. He is also Head Athletic Trainer of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League, a position he has held for the past fifteen seasons, and a strength and condition consultant with various NHL and National Basketball Association (NBA) athletes. Greg joined the Caps in 1999 from the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim where he was the Head Athletic Trainer for two seasons. Tom Yoviene is the regional director of Eastern Shore and Delaware. Working as an administrator at one of the nations largest healthcare companies, Tom realized the need for a physical therapy practice that provided quality, cost effective care with a personalized hometown touch. Tom graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education and later from the Community College of Baltimore with an Associate of Arts degree as a physical therapy assistant. Anne joined Pivot Physical Therapy in 2014 as Northern Virginia's Multi-Clinic Director and now the regional manager of our Virginia and Washington, D.C. clinics. She brings with her over 22 years of clinical experience treating varied diagnoses including, but not limited to, sacroiliac and spinal dysfunction, ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair and total joint replacement with a particular interest in core strengthening and nutritional wellness.Read More
Mary Lynn Jacko
Mary Lynn Jacko serves as Pivot Physical Therapy’s regional manager for Southwestern Pennsylvania. She transitioned into this role from her position as Chief Operating Officer for Allegheny Chesapeake PT, when Allegheny Chesapeake was acquired by Pivot in 2016.
J. Christopher Kuhlmann
Area Manager, Occupational Therapist
Chris Kuhlmann is a Certified Hand Therapist with over fifteen years of experience in outpatient upper extremity rehabilitation. In addition to treating patients, he serves as Area Manager for Pivot Physical Therapy.
